Coordinating thermal plants in French Guiana

Christian, a consultant with agap2, coordinates thermal power plant sites in French Guiana to ensure they are properly run.

ELECTRICAL POWER AT THE HEART OF ALL OUR ACTIVITIES

Electrical power provides us with light, food and the means of communicating. It is created in nuclear, hydroelectric and thermal plants, or in renewable photovoltaic, wind and battery energy plants…. And such power production sites require constant maintenance.

COORDINATING THERMAL POWER PLANTS IN FRENCH GUIANA

EDF Ingeum, formerly known as EDF CIT (Centre D’ingénierie Thermique or Thermal Engineering Centre), provides turnkey solutions to ensure the proper functioning of power plants throughout the whole of France and its overseas departments and collectivities, namely French Guiana. And it is in this context that EDF Ingeum and agap2 entrusted me with a project management mission to coordinate several sites in various thermal power plants in French Guiana (Dégrad Des Cannes, Kourou Pariacabo, Maripasoula, etc.).

A FASCINATING AND wide-ranging PROJECT

The project is fascinating as it requires site and works management expertise as well as case study and communication skills. These varied activities (civil, mechanical, pipe and electrical engineering) are very rewarding. It is the scope of activities that appealed to me, as in my dealings with customers it demonstrates my ability to adapt as a project conductor.
