Encouraging initiatives

initiatives

Because our employees have
big ideas!

In our teams, we have agapians who want to improve our daily lives, preserve our environment, and ensure that culture thrives. Ever since the start of the agap2 adventure, we have encouraged our teams to take part in initiatives of this type and even to instigate them. That’s why we created agap2dream in 2020. It’s a national call for proposals, inviting our employees to share their projects of all types, humanitarian, solidarity, sporting, artistic, voluntary, and so on.

Our objective? To give them the means to fulfil their ambitions! In concrete terms, each year we will help and support three of them to make their project a reality!

This operation makes sense only if our employees are involved. And so they themselves choose the projects they wish to support by voting through our internal app Tous agap2. A great way of providing mutual agapian support!

Camilo

In 2019, consultant engineer Camilo embarked on a mad project: to climb the highest mountains in each continent, starting with Mount Elbrus in Russia, the highest mountain in Europe. His objective was to film his adventure and use it to promote the organisation Colombianitos which mobilises young engineers to improve the quality of life in Colombia, his native country. Camilo had been climbing for only two years, so this was quite a bold undertaking! But that’s what we liked about it, so we said yes immediately !

4L Trophy: Elena in the middle of the Moroccan desert

Elena, a Business Engineer in Strasbourg, set herself the challenge of completing the 4L Trophy 2020, a 6,000 km humanitarian rally across France, Spain and the Moroccan Sahara. The main objective of this journey in Renault 4L cars is to reach Marrakesh and hand over school and sporting equipment to Morocco’s most deprived children. That, in a nutshell, is the 4L adventure. It means action, solidarity, going above and beyond. So we wanted to support Elena and her two-woman team in this extraordinary adventure.
