The agap2 recruitment process

Stage 1: telephone prequalification interview

This discussion, held over the phone with a manager and/or a specialist HR consultant, enables us to validate the key points of your career path and to check that your expectations match what we can offer you, before scheduling an initial interview.

Intermediate stage: filling in a skills file

Before your first interview, we ask all candidates to complete a skills file. This document is an integral part of our recruitment process, enabling us to prepare for the interview as effectively as possible and to plan the next stage of the process.

Stage2: the first interview with a manager and/or HR specialist

This interview, which lasts an average of one hour, is a time for in-depth discussion about your career path and your career aspirations. It gives us a better understanding of what you’ve achieved, what you’re capable of doing today and what you want your career to look like in the future.
It’s also an opportunity to introduce you to agap2 and the job of consultant.
The aim of this interview is to validate both your technical skills and our mutual desire to work together.

Intermediate stage: checking the candidate’s professional references

Following this initial interview, and before moving forward with the recruitment process, we systematically follow up references in order to gain a better understanding of the candidate’s background, working methods and human qualities.

Stage 3: second interview with an agap2 activity manager or customer

At the end of the first interview, two situations may arise:

  • A project is identified that matches your skills and expectations: a meeting is then arranged with the customer to confirm the match with your profile and finalise the recruitment process.
  • No project is identified at this stage, but we would both like to continue the recruitment process: a second interview is organised with a business manager, with a view to potential recruitment based on profile. During this discussion, the activity manager will go over the key technical skills expected in relation to your profile and will take the time to discuss your career aspirations with you to ensure that you are a good match for the position of consultant and the opportunities offered by agap2.
