Ten years’ seniority is no mean feat in a competitive sector renowned for its exacting standards. It is the reflection of an ambitious career path, a lasting relationship of trust and a constant desire to evolve in a changing environment. At agap2, we’re proud to be able to count on long-term employees.

Today, it’s Antoine’s turn in the spotlight. Since 2015, he has built his career with determination, climbing the ranks without losing sight of the essential: learning, passing on knowledge and driving his teams forward.

In this interview, Antoine tells us about his career at agap2. Meet a committed manager.

What is your history at agap2?

A.T: I joined agap2 on 13 April 2015 as a junior Business Engineer in the energy sector. I then progressed to the position of Coach and then Business Unit Manager before becoming Operational Manager of the Paris agency in January 2024. I was lucky enough to be entrusted with the management of the Sweden agency and to launch the Cherbourg agency.

Do you remember why you joined the Agapian adventure 10 years ago?

A.T: I was living abroad at the time. Four months before my return to France, I was contacted by agap2’s human resources department. I went for my interviews while I was on holiday, without expecting too much, but what struck me straight away was the dynamism, ambition and structure of the company. It was exactly what I was looking for to kick-start my career.

Do you have an anecdote to share with us?

A.T: On the evening of my first day, I went home a bit lost as I’m not a trained engineer and at the time, there were very few in these positions who were.
I remember saying to my flatmates: ‘I’ll finish the week and call it a day.’ And... 10 years later, I’m still here! It just goes to show, you have to give yourself time and not stop at your first impression.

Which agap2 event made the biggest impact on you?

A.T: Without a doubt, the Paris agency’s last {1>Christmas party<1} at the Musée des Arts Forains. The venue was exceptional, the organisation was top-notch, and it was the first time I’d been able to address all the teams in the Paris Region in my role as Operations Manager. It was a real highlight that I’m not about to forget.

If you had to sum up these 10 years in three words what would they be?

A.T: I would repeat what I was told when I arrived: ‘learn, work, develop’. And that’s exactly what I experienced here, even three times faster than elsewhere.

How would you describe your relationship with your managers?

A.T: At agap2, the relationship with your manager is central, whatever the position.
My development would not have been possible without this close relationship, this support and this daily collaboration. It’s a real lever for progress.

How do you see the coming years at agap2?

A.T: Impossible to say! And that’s exactly what I like about agap2: there's no set path. The company is constantly evolving, anything is possible and everyone can build their own path.

How do you see agap2’s development in the last 10 years?

A.T: In 10 years, everything has changed: the size, the sectors, the customers, the tools... And at the same time, the DNA of the company has remained intact. It’s this stability in terms of values that, despite constant change, makes us want to stay for a long time to come.

Any advice for someone new to agap2?

A.T: “Make the most of everyday life while maintaining a long-term vision.” It’s not always easy, but it’s what makes it possible to build a real trajectory. And above all: never give up.

Thank you Antoine for your testimony and your loyalty!
