Supporting our employees’ humanitarian, community, artistic and environmental projects
Since its creation in 2020, the mission of agap2dream has been to support humanitarian, community, artistic and environmental projects run by our employees. Each year, this national programme supports three personal initiatives, giving them the means to fulfil their ambitions and contribute to a more caring and sustainable world.
For this 2024 edition, three projects particularly marked the agap2dream adventure, reflecting the commitment, creativity and enthusiasm of our teams. Through art, environmental conservation or education, these initiatives illustrate the diversity of the causes we care about. Here’s a look back at these inspiring projects.
Supporting French associations through illustration - Yann’s project
For mechanical consultant Yann Pillet, art is much more than just a hobby: it’s a powerful tool for communication and solidarity. His project aimed to support French associations by creating posters live on his Twitch account, an online broadcasting platform, and donating the profits to social and environmental causes.
Over the course of this adventure, Yann produced five posters live, all designed to promote local associations. His project raised awareness among many people, while offering a new way of supporting community-based involvement through art.
This initiative demonstrates the extent to which artistic expression can be a vehicle for social change, while revealing the importance of digital formats in reaching a wide audience. Yann, who has a passion for drawing and illustration, has combined his professional and creative skills for a meaningful project.
Collecting and recycling fishing weights - Paul’s project
As part of an environmental initiative, Paul Lanctin, a sustainable development consultant, decided to tackle a problem that is often overlooked: fishing weights lost on the seabed. These objects, mainly made of lead (a toxic metal), pose a threat to marine fauna and coastal biodiversity.
With the help of several Agapians, Paul organised a diving trip to recover this underwater waste. This initiative didn’t stop at just collecting: Paul set up a lead weight recycling process, giving them a second life while limiting their impact on the environment. His project is part of a drive to protect the coastline, demonstrating that it is possible to combine passion, environmental responsibility and practical action.
Support from agap2dream enabled Paul to mobilise resources, expand his network of people involved in ocean conservation and raise awareness to the problem of marine litter.
Building a classroom in Gouta - Almami’s project
Lastly, the 2024 edition of agap2dream enabled Almami Savane, a consultant in geographic information systems (GIS) and fibre optics (FTTH), to carry out a project with a strong social impact in his home village of Gouta, in Guinea. His aim was to build a classroom for the children of the community, in order to improve access to education in this disadvantaged region.
Thanks to the programme’s support, Almami was able to coordinate the construction of the classroom and see his project come to fruition with the official inauguration in the presence of the residents and local authorities. This project not only improved the children’s learning conditions, it also strengthened social ties within the community, demonstrating the direct impact of a project aiming to help others.
For Almami, this project was a way of giving back to his village and offering new generations sustainable educational opportunities. The success of this initiative shows that it is possible to make a real difference even thousands of miles away.

2024 once again demonstrated the diversity and depth of the projects supported by agap2dream. Whether through art, the environment or education, these initiatives embody our employees’ desire to contribute to a fairer, more caring and more sustainable world.
