Quality management for critical aerospace equipment
Multi-stakeholder coordination
Enhanced quality performance and sustainable practices
Context and key issues
Safran Landing Systems leads several critical programs for landing gear systems destined for Daher (Tarbes) and Airbus (Marignane). In an environment where compliance, quality risk management, and cross-functional coordination are essential, our experts were involved in one of these projects, which aims to structure, manage, and improve all Program Quality processes.
Management of the Program Quality Plan in conjunction with project managers, the design office, configuration management, and the supply chain.
Quality interface between Safran, Daher and Airbus : requirements monitoring, coordination of quality points, facilitation of governance meetings.
Handling of exported non-conformities : assessment, expert analysis, 8D analyses, implementation and monitoring of corrective/preventive actions.
Management of customer waivers : data verification, technical coordination, formalization, and follow-up until closure.
Quality facilitation within program bodies: indicators, reports, action plans.
Support for post-service investigations: traceability research, participation in expert analyses, support for QA teams.
Contribution tocontinuous improvement : tool structuring, practice standardization, and process strengthening.
Enhanced quality control on critical landing gear system equipment.
Seamless coordination between Safran, Airbus, and Daher, reducing bottlenecks and quality discrepancies.
Reduced exported non-conformities through rigorous and standardized processing.
Improved project performance, particularly through reliable indicators and consistent quality routines.
Sustainable quality processes, with improved standardization and increased maturity of internal practices.
